LANGUAGE COURSES
Language Courses are offered by semesters. The Fall Semester begins the 2nd week of September. The Spring Semester begins the 2nd week in January. Both Fall and Spring semester are 15 weeks. The Summer Semester runs for 15 weeks beginning the first week of May.
LANGUAGE BANDS
ĞI (YELLOW) BAND
The Ği Band consists of four courses. These courses include NAK 100, NAK 101, NAK 102, and NAK 103. Students who complete these courses acquire basic language skills packed with a vast vocabulary.
PEZHI TO (GREEN) BAND
The Pezhi To Band consists of four courses. These courses include NAK 200, NAK 201, NAK 202, and NAK 203. At the completion of this band, students will be able to communicate in oral and written forms.
SHA (RED) BAND
THE SHA BAND consists of four courses. These courses include NAK 300, NAK 301, NAK 302, and 303. Students who complete these courses will be able to write their own stories, engage in conversation, and make presentations in Nakona.
THIS BAND WILL START SP 2026
TO (BLUE) BAND
THE TO BAND consists of four courses. These courses include NAK 400, NAK 401, NAK 402, and NAK 403. At the completion of this band, students will understand how culture, world-view, belief system, knowledge acquisition is imbedded with the spoken language.
THIS BAND WILL START SP 2028
SUMMER 2026 COURSE OFFERINGS
SUMMER 2026 semester starts MAY 23, 2026, and ends SEP 12, 2026.
Various courses are offered. See the HOME page to view the Summer Course calendar. Students meet online through ZOOM. Students may choose to audit, participate, or complete course for credit hours. Students may retake any course and can take multiple courses simultaneously.
